My take on the book:

In his latest outing ‘The Everyday Hero Manifesto’, bestselling author Robin Sharma focusses on the everyday heroes we meet in our life, unsung, but who make a huge impact in our lives. As he applauds such heroes that he has met in his life, he jots down important info on how each of us can manifest our hidden powers and talent to become the superheroes of our lives; a life filled with satisfaction, gratitude, positivity, and eagerness to help others.

There are a total of hundred chapters, and I love that each of them does not go beyond 2–3 pages, so it is easy for the reader to understand and assimilate. There are three interesting lists at the end of the book with the author’s favorite movies, books and documentaries — the top twenty-five of them. The book covers a multitude of topics — beliefs, traits, forms of wealth, practices, frameworks — each chapter touches on each of these topics.

If you are a regular reader of books from the self-help genre, then you many find few concepts from the book as already known ones. What makes this book different is the way author has narrated them with excellent examples, which makes these concepts easy to understand even by novice readers. I personally find self-help books interesting as they always serve as a timely reminder of the simple things we often tend to forget.

Overall, the book makes for a good read for those who are looking to bring out the best in themselves and could be the heroes of their lives and those around.
